Shirakawa is a warm, comforting amber incense that brings together Vanilla, Benzoin and Clove on top of the signature soft Shoyeido Sandalwood base. It is a relative of Hori-kawa and it further develops the sweet accords for a sweet decadent scent that will linger around your space for hours.

HOW DO I BURN THIS INCENSE?
Japanese incense is burned vertically and in case you've purchased one of our discovery packs before, you'll already have the complementary mini incense burner in your home. If not, you can always use an empty container filled with uncooked rice. You can simply put the stick inside the rice and burn it, as long as the container is fire proof (ceramic, glass, metal). Other incense burners with 2-3mm hole diameter will also work perfectly.
