Madoka is a low-smoke interpretation of Shoyeido’s Kyoto Autumn Leaves, this incense builds on the base of soft Sandalwood with Cinnamon, Patchouli and various herbs. It is rich with earthy notes and hints of florals; however it is known for its subtlety and is perfectly suited for those seeking a mild aroma that sits quietly in the background.

HOW DO I BURN THIS INCENSE?
Japanese incense is burned vertically and in case you've purchased one of our discovery packs before, you'll already have the complementary mini incense burner in your home. If not, you can always use an empty container filled with uncooked rice. You can simply put the stick inside the rice and burn it, as long as the container is fire proof (ceramic, glass, metal). Other incense burners with 2-3mm hole diameter will also work perfectly.
