The Shoyeido Nana (Seven) incense holder is made out of a single piece of brass, shaped like the number seven. The holder allows you to place the incense in 7 different ways, including a way to partially burn through an incense stick.

HOW DO I BURN THIS INCENSE?
Japanese incense is burned vertically and in case you've purchased one of our discovery packs before, you'll already have the complementary mini incense burner in your home. If not, you can always use an empty container filled with uncooked rice. You can simply put the stick inside the rice and burn it, as long as the container is fire proof (ceramic, glass, metal). Other incense burners with 2-3mm hole diameter will also work perfectly.
